8BY8 STOP
ASIAN HATE
The 8by8 challenge by the Greg Tanaka Organisation was started to help promote Asian American voting participation in the U.S elections which essentially aimed to fight the racism projected on them. While this started out as a challenge when I was joined the team, it quickly evolved into its own brand. I was fortunate enough to be involved in bringing about this change, including developing the brand kit, and helping the design team choose brand typography, colors and general voice. Plans to implement specific tones according to the situation were drafted as well.
MUTTS N
MITTENS
Mutts & Mittens has been doing pet boarding in Singapore for 20 years, with a primary emphasis on services catering to cats and dogs. It has a strong track record. The team consists of a group of passionate animal lovers and professionals dedicated to improving the well-being of these animals. Although I only worked with them for a month due to the contract I had with them, I gained a better understanding of pet industry trends and the kind of content that appeals to this particular niche of audience.
JUNEB IN
THE SUN
JuneB In The Sun is a self-care and mindfulness-focused brand founded by JuneB, a certified life coach, jazz singer, author and meditation teacher based in London, United Kingdom. The work for
this client involved redesigning the logo, social media branding and designing collateral for events such as posters and flyers, as well as acting as the social media manager by acquiring collaborations with other coaching businesses and wellness companies.
Selena Lael Coaching is a coaching business founded by Selena Lael. She is a certified life coach and yoga teacher based in Hawaii, USA. The work for this client involved social media branding and designing print collateral for retreats and workshops hosted around the client in several international locations. Developing strategies for the email marketing campaign and sales funnels was an essential part of the work with this client, and during the process, it all involved acquiring collaborations with Anamaya Resort, Country Living and Insight Timer.

COACHING
The inspiring work HOPE has done for disaster relief in the Philippines and more recently, in the assistance of Ukraine during the war motivated me to work with them to create content that would help spread their outreach. I worked with the Bay Area Chapter of Hope Worldwide to assist with social media content creation and vector illustration for special event posts.

Sterilbio Analytics Singapore is a powerful Asian industry innovator in the pharmaceutical industry and the air & space industries. As an emerging company, they required assistance with creating a stunning website that differs from its competitors in critical forms. Priorities included smooth UI/UX and lead generation. Additionally, leaflets and business cards were an integral part of the design and promotional process which helped challenge me in diverse ways as a designer.

The Sapporo Snow Festival, held in February in Sapporo, Japan, is one of the biggest snow festivals in the world. Working with a small, but mighty team of highly capable individuals, we embarked on a challenging college project - to revamp the entire branding of the Sapporo Snow Festival, and create
a more appealing festival.

PROJECT
The Tribal Food Foundation was a fictional brand developed for a college project that asked to design a brand which fused technology and a social cause together. Our team decided to think out of the box, and created a brand that would provide food to Native Americans suffering food shortages through the usage of drones. The entire brand was created from the bottom-up, and risk analyses of critical points were conducted.

Journey Back in Time was a movie-based project that went beyond interactivity with events in the physical space, finding ways to connect with people and collaborations with Singapore Comic Con. A website to promote this idea was created, and poster mockups, along with logo sets for 'heroes' and 'villains' were created. Specialised Illustrations were hand-drawn to depict our heroes and a quiz-based video game was created to promote the project further.

Creating a mood board can seem deceptively simple but in reality, the process of choosing the right images, typography, colours and layout for the mood board can truly make a huge difference to
a larger design project. The mood board sets the base for inspiration and for the refinement of a brand, helping it grow. Creating a mood board in
a concise, and organised way was a challenging undertaking. They say that an image book tells a narrative through the associations we make and
the ones the author has projected. Creating one of these small image books was also something that challenged me.

IMAGE MAKING
PROJECT
An object can take many forms, and so we can look at the different ways it can be interpreted by the designer in connotative and denotative ways. Faced with challenging subjects we so often think of in a simple, pictorial sense, I set out to create different versions (both physical and digital) of them. Natural and Artificial design integrations took centre stage as all sorts of experimentation took place here. Typographical Associations for both these objects also helped me grow as a designer. Icon exploration with simple shapes assisted with redefining the possibilities of element combination variations. A pattern representing a culture or tribe also contributed to creating visual interest, and 3D effects were adapted in a poster-design context.
BUSINESS CARD
AND MONOGRAM PROJECT
Designing a Business Card and a Monogram
for a business is an essential aspect of graphic design, and this project challenged me to
create three variations of stunning business
cards, and three different variations of the
way that Monograms could be created and
depicted. The design process involved for
the monogram involved a very detailed background type exploration, while the
business card required deep thought of
the type of image and style that I wanted
to project as a designer, something that
would reflect my unique style and workflow.
RAW INDULGENCE
PROJECT
A Brand Development Guide highlights the development process of a brand, including choosing a brand name to its ideals, what it stands for, what it does and also its central
typography and colours. The applications of
the brand across several online and offline mediums are also portrayed in a systematic
way. So for this project, I chose to create a natural, and luxurious skincare brand named Raw Indulgence. A very detailed typographical exploration, monochrome and colour logo design as well as multiple variations of a single
typography are just some of the processes I engaged in while designing the brand guide. Explore this deep-dive project below!
